Bach & now! – Second festival edition scheduled for April 2026

As the artistic director, Alexandra Sostmann is preparing the second edition of the festival Bach & now! The festival brings the music of Johann Sebastian Bach into an exciting dialogue with contemporary compositions and interdisciplinary formats.
Following the successful premiere, the upcoming edition will once again focus on innovative concert programs, new perspectives on classical works, and the connection between early and contemporary music. The festival will take place from April 23 to 26, 2026, at Schloss Agathenburg and in the Stader Baroque churches.
